Although world famous musicians like Ed Sheeran, Snoop Dogg and Romeo Elvis have been spotted with the iconic orange LaCie Rugged drives, we were challenged with making LaCie even more known in the music scene.
We focused on the German music scene. In order to raise awareness there, we contacted Thomas Berlin: an award winning German music producer and composer. We worked with Berlin and together, we created an inspiring video showcasing how the composer creates his music and how LaCie helps him with his workflow.
We published the video on all available channels: social media, blogs, newsletters to consumers and resellers, LinkedIn posts by sales representatives… We also pitched the story to German media. After the pitch, we used the material in paid media deals such as advertorials together with bannering campaigns. For the sales representatives, we created an eye-catching presentation helping them to get in with resellers. Those resellers will start implementing brand pages with Berlin’s inspiring story.
The multi-channel campaign was a resounding success on all fronts. First of all, it generated sales, but that’s not all. LaCie was once again in the picture as the go to brand for creatives, sales representatives in the DACH-region now have extra assets at their disposal to convince music resellers, those resellers can use high quality content on their website, and Thomas Berlin gained a lot of extra exposure as our ambassador. Finally, LaCie has inspired consumers with the story.
