VMware wanted to present VMware Horizon 6 to companies in Belgium, Luxembourg and The Netherlands. VMware Horizon 6 has become a crucial part of several businesses. The goal was to specifically target decision makers that want to increase the mobility of their workforce.
To generate visibility to the benefits of VMware Horizon 6 we set up a multi-platform campaign including both VMware and the channel partners. In stead of organizing one big event, we created a roadshow of 10 smaller events - each with a dedicated partner and case study. To generate maximum attendance at the roadshow we created:
- VMware horizon campaign website + registration module
- 4 video case studies
- email marketing campaign
- social media advertising (Linkedin/Facebook)
- public relations
In total 233 it-managers or cxo's visited one of the roadshows. Our website was visited by 5.894 decision makers in Benelux. Via social media we collected 1.596.856 impressions and 28.951 people engaged in some way with our posts. During the campaign we also had 18 clippings in both tech and business media to support general awareness. And thanks to the follow up of the participating partners this also became a very successful sales campaign.
