SAS wants to further strengthen its positioning among European institutions as a leading partner in data analytics, with a clear focus on sustainability. But how do you make a complex technological and policy-oriented topic like CO₂ reduction truly relevant for an audience of policymakers, experts and their influential networks? SAS was looking for a way not only to inform, but to create genuine impact and build meaningful connections.

STRATEGY
Together with SAS, we conceived and developed The Greenprint Podcast: a podcast facilitating dialogue between European policymakers and stakeholders. By giving SAS a seat at the table, they quite literally gained a voice in the debate. Topics ranged from climate legislation and employment to innovation, financing and beyond.
By carefully selecting high-profile guests such as Kurt Vandenberghe (DG CLIMA), Bart Steukers (Agoria), Mario Nava (Director-General at DG Employment, Social Affairs & Inclusion at the European Commission) and Kathleen Van Brempt (European Parliament), complemented with prospects from the SAS network and contacts from our own network, the podcast immediately gained credibility and relevance within the policy landscape.
But the true power of the podcast lay in the combination of content and connection. Each recording was followed by an informal networking lunch – the perfect opportunity for SAS to continue the conversation, build relationships and schedule follow-up meetings. The recordings themselves became content-driven sales moments, allowing SAS to share its expertise in an authentic and credible way.
This approach created a ripple effect that extended far beyond SAS’s existing network. The impact was amplified through a targeted advertising campaign aimed at stakeholders within the European Union and companies for whom SAS’s sustainability solutions are particularly relevant. These ads drove traffic to a dedicated landing page we built, where all episodes could be watched and listened to on demand.
RESULTS
A well-executed B2B podcast is more than content: it is strategy, lead generation, networking and market research rolled into one. The Greenprint Podcast evolved into much more than a format for content. It strengthened SAS’s thought leadership among EU institutions and served as a content-driven lead generator, resulting in:
